Kutná Hora is one of the most popular day trips from Prague.
This small town carries a lot of resonance in Czech history, it’s where Bohemia’s money was actually made and home to the marvellous Cathedral of St. Barbara.
But what it’s most famous for is the ossuary. Sedlec is a small chapel stacked with the bones of somewhere between 40,000 and 70,000 people. The bones decorate and adorn, with chandeliers and towers. It’s a “spooky tourist attraction”, for sure, but there’s meaning behind its making.
Come on our tour to find out why this small town is so famed!
