Best of Prague: Castle to Old Town retraces the route kings and coronation processions have used for centuries, from the seat of power at Prague Castle down to the heart of the medieval city.
We start at Jan Palach Square and ride the tram up to the Castle, taking in its courtyards and St. Vitus Cathedral’s soaring Gothic spires. From there we descend Nerudova Street, past Baroque palaces marked by their famous carved house signs, through the Lesser Town’s grand churches, and across Charles Bridge into Old Town.
With a maximum of 10 people, this is a way to see the true local side of Prague, not a shuffle through crowds, there’s room to ask questions and actually see what you’re looking at. It’s Prague’s greatest hits, covered on foot in one unhurried tour.
